While there are no hard and fast rules for what you should wear to the session, business casual attire is appropriate. Aloha wear or church attire are also suitable options.

Yes, guests are welcome to attend the session. They will be seated in a designated seating area separate from voting delegates to avoid any confusion. Please note that guests will not be permitted to speak at the microphone and a meal will not be provided. Guests are invited to join us and stay informed about the conference activities.
-
Upon arrival, delegates should check in at the registration booth located in the lanai area. There, they will receive a name badge and a packet containing voting information and session materials. After checking in, delegates may proceed to the designated seating area reserved for voting delegates.
-
Yes, transportation to and from the airport will be arranged by the conference for registered outer island delegates only. The conference is unable to provide transportation for spouses or guests traveling with delegates, or for other guests.
To coordinate your transportation, please contact our Executive Administrative Assistant at jjeffreys@hawaiisda.com -
Regular delegates are chosen by the local churches and companies of Hawaii Conference. They are church members of the congregations they represent.
Alternate delegates are chosen by the local churches and companies to step in and serve as a regular delegate in the event a regular delegate cannot attend the session. This is a pre-approved list of alternates submitted by the churches and companies, and voted by the conference executive committee.
Delegates-At-Large are automatically delegates to the session based on employment or membership on various committees of the conference. These delegates include conference officers, conference departmental directors and associate directors, pastors hired by field budget (pastors who are locally hired are not delegates-at-large), school principals, and members of executive and bylaws committees.
Delegates-at-large are also officers of the Pacific Union Conference, the North American Division and the General Conference, as well as the Pacific Union Conference directors for ethnic ministries.

Unfortunately, minors are not permitted to attend the constituency session, with the exception of delegates and invitees. We appreciate your understanding.

Parking is reserved for delegates at the Honolulu Central SDA Church. Guests will need to use the overflow parking, with details to be provided at a later date. We encourage guests to carpool when possible.
